BECOME A VENDOR​

 

Share your flavors with thousands of festival attendees at the 2026 Iowa Latino Heritage Festival! We're now accepting applications for food vendors and exhibitors who want to showcase authentic cuisine, products, and services while celebrating Latino culture and community.​

​

Please note: Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. Selected vendors will receive a confirmation and payment instructions.

​

2026 Food Vendor Fee: $700

Payment is only required after your application has been approved.

Application Requirements
​

Please submit the following:

​

  • Completed online vendor application

  • Electrical requirements form (if applicable)

  • Photos of your booth or a brief description of your display

  • Menu with pricing or a list of items to be sold

  • Copy of your Iowa Retail Vendor Permit

  • Proof of insurance
     

Please review all vendor requirements before applying to ensure you can meet festival guidelines if selected.

Electrical Requirements

 

Food vendors are responsible for providing their own extension cords. Minimum requirements:

​

  • 12-gauge, 3-wire extension cord

  • Minimum length of 25 feet

  • For 220-volt service, please indicate whether connections are bare wire or provide the plug type with your application

     

Food Permits & Health Requirements

 

Food vendors are responsible for obtaining all required permits and complying with state, county, and city regulations.

Vendor Policies

 

By submitting an application, vendors acknowledge that they have read and agree to all festival procedures and applicable health, fire, and City of Des Moines requirements. Vendors also agree to the festival's liability and indemnification policies.

Vendor fees are non-refundable, including in the event of festival cancellation. Please review the complete Vendor Rules and Procedures before submitting your application.
